Dance, as a sacred healing art, naturally raises the human vibration. When we approach practices with full awareness, a deep wisdom connects the body, mind, and soul. The Intuitive Dance Retreat integrates profound, energetic techniques to unblock, release, create & expand consciousness, all with movement as the key! Tapping into our intuition, opening the heart center to all possibilities and allowing the full dancer to be embraced, healed and witnessed…this is our dance!

Adge Marz Lindsey

Adge Marz Lindsey has an ever-growing love for dance that tends to be contagious! Her intuitive movement practice brings creativity, joy, and profound presence to the mat, the dance studio, and beyond. She is a strong holder of space, coupling the deep wisdom of dance technique with intuitive energy work. The ancient teachings of yoga infiltrate all of her classes, as Adge’s approach relies on growing smart, lifelong, intuitive movers.

Her approach, The Intuitive Dance Method, allows energetic sequencing and authentic movement to guide her technique practices. Training and certification is offered to movement educators, performers, choreographers, and dancers in various modules, as well as in retreat settings. Dance is our intrinsic right and this method is for everyone.

For 20+ years, Adge has traveled, performed in, written, and produced creative projects that cultivate deep community connection and genuine expression. These decades of teaching are supported by many certifications in dance, yoga, physically integrated studies, Reiki I-IV attunements, Intuitive Reader accreditation, and a Master’s degree in special education. From the Colorado mountains, to culturally vibrant Central America destinations, Adge leads dance and yoga teacher trainings, meaningful retreats, and social impact projects. It is her life’s mission to spread light and love through movement.

Yolessa K. Lawrinnce

Yolessa is a psychic-medium, motivational speaker, director and trainer at Sedona Healing Arts, a center for spiritual awakening. She has over 15 years of experience, has guided more than 5,000 people on their healing journey through readings and training programs, and is featured in “Love Heals” and “Going Om” documentaries.

Yolessa is committed to raising consciousness on the planet. She pours her heart into helping people become free, know their value, express it, and know unconditional love for themselves and the sake of humanity. Utilizing her exceptional abilities (clairsentience, clairvoyance and clairaudience), she pinpoints the core source of depleting beliefs and self-sabotaging patterns giving people the ability to free themselves to live authentically. Her wisdom and deep understanding of the universal laws and principles are at the core of her training programs that activate innate psychic & intuitive abilities for self-empowerment.

Yolessa resides in Sedona, AZ with her husband and daughter. She is a Tao Master, and formerly studied and performed at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance in New York City. She is also a licensed lawyer (J.D., Brooklyn Law School, 2006)

Jungle paths connect the 20+ acres at Imiloa, with hand-made stairs and lighting, creating an immersive, easy experience for you and guests.

Beyond the Jungle Bungalows is a path that leads to our own private waterfall. Descend into what feels like an enchanted jungle forest as you bask in the magic and beauty of the surrounding nature.

The Houses

Bali Village is perched 1200 feet about the Pacific Ocean, on a ridge line of flora, fauna and wildlife every direction you look. These 5 accommodations are 160-200 year old homes imported from Bali. Each with their own en suite bathrooms, the homes bring you back and create a self space for rejuvenation and transformation.

Perched on the edge of the cliff, at the furthest end of the property, sits a 170 year old home from the Java Islands we call Jogolo. Complete with a writer’s desk, outdoor Balinese shower, hand-carved architecture that will transport you to another land and time, Jogolo is teeming with history and comfort. Your cold plunge pool is adjacent to a warm bath, both outdoor.

200 Year Old Homes from Bali. Imported from the Java Islands, these homes boast outdoor showers, surreal vista views to the Pacific, their own salt water plunge pools and hand-carved art that is as old as the houses.

This two-floor imported home from Bali will have you wishing you’d never leave. Complete with a King Bed and a twin in the corner of the 180 year old home, Potoo has modern luxury with 360 views of the Pacific. On the lower level, a plunge pool and private spa. Potoo also includes many outdoor chairs, and hammocks.

Bungalow Hill boasts six Jungle Bungalows built on the side of the mountain on the pathway to our very own private waterfall. Bali inspired, the interiors feature natural finishings and a gorgeous exposed shower and bath tub.

Six Buckminster Fuller inspired Geodesic River Domes, among the best made in the world and partially powered by solar energy, sit perched on the edge of our private river with the fresh, flowing water feeding up to the domes. Experience the soothing sounds of relaxing and sleeping next to flowing water. Amazing!

Imiloa is a proudly conscious comfort food campus. That means we serve healthy, locally-sourced, gourmet vegan meals that are as artistically plated, scientifically nourishing and delightfully crafted for all of our retreat guests.

You Will Be Immersed in a 22-Acre Jungle Oasis in Dominical, Costa Rica.

Imiloa is located in the jungle, at the top of a mountain, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This lush and luxurious retreat center is located adjacent to the second most biodiverse land on the planet.

This enchanted mountainside jungle venue is ten minutes from the beach and it is the perfect setting to experience deep healing, embraced by nature, yet completely luxurious.

While staying at Imiloa you will enjoy our nature paths, our private waterfall, our salt-water pool, stunning views and delicious and nutritious meals by our five-star vegan chef.

Day 1

Arrival

Please land in Costa Rica (SJO) by 1PM local time.

By no later than 3PM, you’ll be flying private for a short 15 minute flight to a landing strip 25 minutes away from Imiloa.

In the customs line, or on the private charter, you’ll meet other Intuitive Dance Retreat guests. The magic of arriving as strangers, and leaving as friends, is well under-way.

When you arrive at Imiloa we will gather for delicious mocktails and enjoy a beautiful ocean sunset, before we have our first dinner together.

This evening we will have a sacred welcome circle to start connecting with our dancer and to step into the journey of this magical week ahead.

Day 2

Align

Your first full day at Imiloa will immediately ground you in your surroundings.

You will wakeup in either a 200 year old home from Bali, a Jungle Bungalow in the sloth sanctuary or along our river in a gorgeous Sacred Geodesic Dome.

After fresh fruits and juices to begin to cleanse and activate your body, you’ll wake up your dancer with an intuitive movement session.

After breakfast you’ll practice waking up your intuition with a deep dive into the mystical experience of your psychic intuitive senses.

We will have a nutritious lunch + free time or spa treatments in the first part of the afternoon to unwind and begin to reconnect you, with you.

Before dinner the focus will be moving you into your power by connecting with the jungle and your own internal Chi.

This evening we will enjoy a gourmet plant-based meal and have an easy exploration of healing through dance in the jungle.

Day 3

Let go

Today is the day to look within designed to allow you to let go of age old blocks to your sacred dancer.

You will wake up to delicious fruits and juices to begin your day, followed by an invigorating Ecstatic Dance class.

After this immersive workshop we will gather for a lavish brunch at the Heart of Imiloa, followed by the Waterfall Ceremony.

Enjoy a free afternoon where you might want to explore more options for movement. We recommend hiking our jungle trails, visiting our private waterfall for a refreshing dip, or maybe venturing down to the beach for a surf class or a relaxing afternoon in the waves. The choice is yours.

Before dinner we you will return for an integrative dance experience, bringing everything you’ve experienced so far to the table.

In the evening, after a gourmet plant-based meal and desserts to swoon for, a mystical journey with drums will have you dancing beneath the stars.

Day 4

Create

Start your day off with an energizing dance class in the jungle.

After breakfast you will head to the beach to immerse yourself in the elements while creatively exploring your dance expression.

You’ll also continue developing your intuition in workshop through martial arts to effectively grow your ability to command your energy at will.

The Imiloa team starts to feel like family and the workshops with masters in their field open you up to new possibilities.

In the evening, we invite you into further healing ceremony.

Day 5

Express

Today is about sharing the love.

The invitation is to explore performance from the space of sacred sharing and transmission honoring the value of each individual dancer and the expression that they alone can bring.

Our workshop of the day is a sacred dance expression ceremony. You will explore communication without words as you enjoy the healing that comes from being witnessed.

Before dinner we will enter into celebration, honoring the contribution of every dancer to the process.

To close this week we will celebrate with a fun party at the beach, including sunset, music, bonfire, snacks and drinks.

Day 6

Departure

We’ll meet for a nice morning dance class before enjoying our last breakfast together.

We’ll depart Imiloa for the private planes at 10am. Please ensure your international flight home is booked no earlier than 1pm.

The final day at the Intuitive Dance Retreat is the first day to the rest of your life.
